Olkom Group presents the updated brand “Smachno Yak Zavzhdy”

Olkom Group rebranded the “Smachno Yak Zavzhdy” trademark and updated its product range. The line of margarines has been replenished with two new positions: «Vershkovyi» 72,5 % and «Domashnii» 50 %. The assortment of mayonnaise products has completely changed and includes the most popular types among buyers: mayonnaise sauce with a fat content of 30 % and classic mayonnaise with a fat content of 67 %. A comprehensive project to change the brand logo and packaging design for mayonnaise products was carried out by the studio of the famous Ukrainian designer Yurko Gutsulyak.
TM “Smachno Yak Zavzhdy” is a brand of the Olkom Group of Companies with a 15-year history and established traditions of quality. The purpose of its redesign is to refresh the perception of the brand among the target audience, while forming the image of a modern high-quality product at an affordable price. “Change is always beneficial. They allow you to take a fresh look at familiar things and help you stay successful in your niche, – commented Olga Tverdokhleb, Marketing Director of the Olkom Group. – “Smachno Yak Zavzhdy” has recently been perceived rather as a mature brand that does not correspond to modern trends. Therefore, we were decided that the brand from nostalgic and outdated should become modern, bright and noticeable on the shelf”.
To update the packaging design for mayonnaise products TM “Smachno Yak Zavzhdy”, the company turned to the graphic design studio of Yurko Gutsulyak, with which there is already a successfully implemented joint project to create packaging design for plant butter spreads “Selianske” and “Vershkove”. The designers spoke about the process of creating a new visualization of the brand: “Mayonnaise is an exquisite sauce that has long been a part of the daily diet. In the new packaging design for “Smachno Yak Zavzhdy”, it was very important to find a balance between accessible simplicity, on the one hand, and appetizing elegance, on the other. It was also an important task to show mayonnaise sauce not as a final product, but as a constituent ingredient in your favorite dishes”.
Within the framework of the project, the packaging design for mayonnaise was completely renewed. The rich background colors enhanced the flavor and added the necessary modernity and sophistication to the brand. Also, the designers changed the trademark logo and worked on the logo block. The brand name has become much easier to read: the location on the solid area, regardless of the packaging format, makes it recognizable and noticeable.
