Olkom Group organized assistance to hospitals in Kiev

Olkom Group made the first free delivery of 2000 liters of sunflower oil to the Aleksandrovskaya Clinical Hospital and TMO “Psychiatry”. Such assistance for doctors and patients is planned throughout the entire quarantine period. The Company’s team is convinced that human life is the highest value, and only by joining efforts, we can all together overcome the crisis that has arisen during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the entire period of the pandemic, the Olkom Group plans to provide free assistance for doctors and hospital patients in the form of providing sunflower oil, which is included in the list of essential products, as well as other food products of its own production. The first delivery of 2000 liters of oil was made on Tuesday 24 March.
“The pandemic of coronavirus infection and the global economic crisis have made adjustments to the life of the whole country, influenced the way of life and life of people, the work of enterprises, organizations and hospitals. We, as a socially responsible company, feel full responsibility not only to our employees, but also to society as a whole, – comments Sergey Mironenko, CFO of Olkom Group. – Despite the fact that the economic crisis also affected the oil and fat industry, we have found resources to provide all possible assistance to patients and doctors who have become hostages of quarantine”.
The Olkom Group team believes that such an example will help to form public consciousness and an active civil position among Ukrainians. After all, by helping each other and maintaining a constructive attitude, we can all survive the most inappropriate moment for the country.
